Lambda Chi Alpha Founded
Founding Father, Warren A.Cole founded Lambda Chi Alpha at Boston University on November 2nd, 1909

Lambda Chi Alpha Goes International
On December 3rd, 1927 Lambda Chi Alpha became an international fraternity with the installation of the University of Toronto chapter.

Merger with Theta Kappa NU
Lambda Chi Alpha merged with Theta Kappa Nu on October 11th, 1939. The largest merger in fraternity history.

Ferris State Chapter Installation.
Lambda Chi Alpha installed the Iota Psi chapter at Ferris State University on April 4th, 1963.

Iota Psi wins the Grand High Alpha Award.
Lambda Chi Alpha Iota Psi Zeta wins the Grand High Alpha Award. This award is given to only two chapters of LXA for maintaining a superior level of operations for at least three consecutive years.

Iota Psi wins the Lewis A. Plourd Fraternity Education Award.
Lambda Chi Alpha Iota Psi Zeta wins the Lewis A. Plourd Fraternity Education Award. This award is only given to a select few chapters that demonstrate an outstanding Fraternity Education Program that includes the entire membership, alumni, and incorporates a highly effective Big Brother program.

Iota Psi wins the Phoenix Award.
Lambda Chi Alpha Iota Psi Zeta wins the Grand High Phoenix Award. This award is given to only two chapters of LXA for outstanding operational improvements over a 3 year period.
